9Honey today confirmed it is teaming up with Judd’s The Style School for its next major home renovation. As the official media partner, Judd will take the 9Honey audience on her renovation journey through video, photo galleries and commentary as she makes over her dream home.
The addition of The Style School comes weeks after 9Honey overhauled its online network with a cleaner, brighter and simpler look designed for better engagement with the 2.5 million-plus Australians who read the lifestyle website last month.*
9Honey has also confirmed it is ramping up its team of columnists across the board, with Victoria Arbiter, Rosie Waterland and Roxy Jacenko all joining as contributors.
“It has been an incredible journey for 9Honey and the recent changes set us up for our next stage of growth,” said Kerri Elstub Nine’s Digital Editorial Director. “Over the past two years 9Honey has really found its place in the lifestyle landscape, but the new look and this ramp-up in our broader content offering – be it through the deal with Bec or the new columnists – lays the foundation for the next step in the 9Honey journey.”
The new columnists joining 9Honey are:
• Victoria Arbiter, who will write a weekly royal column. Arbiter is a highly regarded royal commentator who spent her latter teen years at Kensington Palace.
• Rosie Waterland, who brings her unique voice to a weekly advice column called “I know nothing, ask me anything!”
• Roxy Jacenko, the publicity and social media supremo, who joins the website as a branded content contributor.
In another 9Honey development, current contributor Shelly Horton last week launched a new podcast, Failing Fabulously, which features some of Australia’s most high-profile women, such as Julia Morris and Kerrie-Anne Kennerley, sharing their personal stories of failure and how they bounced back.
And next week Shauna Anderson takes the reins as the new 9Honey Network Editor. She was previously news editor of Kidspot, and has also held senior positions at Mamamia and the Today show.
“I’m seriously excited about where 9Honey is now, and how we build on the existing momentum and community around the website,” said Anderson. “9Honey speaks to a large audience of Australian women every month and I’m excited about how we can take that to the next level.”
Since its launch, the 9Honey audience has grown from 1.3 million in November 2016** to 2.5 million in August 2018.*
